The Greener Homes Scheme In March 2006 the Irish government, through Sustainable Energy Ireland, introduced the Greener Homes scheme to provide assistance to people who intend purchasing a sustainable energy heating system for either new or existing homes.
The grant available for the purchase and installation of an approved wood pellet stove is €800 from July 22th 2008 The products supplied by Jedcoe; The Windsor, The Evolution, The Bern and the Kalor pellet stoves are included in the Greener Homes Scheme Registered Products List.
The grant should be applied for before purchasing from Jedcoe. The SEI grant application form can be filled out online here or an application can downloaded from here.
